Job hunting crisis?

Hey guys!

Now that final year is slowly creeping up to me, it’s time to think about applications start job hunting!

There are a few routes I’m currently considering: graduate scheme, internships, graduate jobs and work placements!

The difference between a graduate scheme and graduate jobs is that graduate jobs are available November. Schemes typically allow for students to learn on the job and can last from 1-2 years.

Both application processes can be quite lengthy, usually it comprises of filling in the application, then a few personality tests to see if you fit with the organisation needs, if successful, then you would be invited to an assessment centre. This could be individual or in groups; you would either be asked to be interviewed on your own or with others, in this case, interviewees could see how you work well with others! This is considered the most nervewrecking task in comparison to all the other ones, but rest assured, if you get through this one, you’re most likely going to get the job!

A few graduate job hunting sites to look at would be Adzuna, graduatejobs.com and RateMyPlacement!

Fingers crossed!

Until next time!
