ACCESS TO PRINTED PERIODICALS CLOSED

August – September 2006
______

The collection of printed periodicals (journals) on Floor 2 (West), Floor 3, and the Library Store will be unavailable for a period of up to three weeks during the summer vacation and early semester.

This is due to a major move of periodicals on these floors. For health and safety reasons, we will not be able to offer access to staff or students during the move. It will also NOT be possible for library staff to fetch printed periodicals on behalf of library users.

Please note: The Wireless Zone on Floor 2 will NOT be available during this period. Wireless access is available in the Austin Pearce (AP) Building, and also in food outlets across the campus. Laptop users are also welcome to use the Laptop Zone on Floor one, but will need to use a network cable (available for loan from the Information Desk on the Ground Floor).

NB: New dates Latest news – move is currently underway. Scheduled completion date is 25th September (subject to change)

  • Current periodicals on Floor 1 and Law periodicals on Floor 2 (East) will remain available.
  • Materials on Floor 2 (East) – e.g. music, multimedia, statistics – will remain available.
  • The Inter-Libray Loans service may be used for urgent access to journals not available electronically – please ask at the Information Desk.

We apologise for the disruption that this will cause
