FMS researchers link up with two interest groups in the UK Fluids Network

The Fluids, Meteorology & Symmetry Research Group has joined two of the special interest groups associated with the UK Fluids Network. The UK Fluids Network is a 3-year (2016-9) network funded by EPSRC linking researchers in fluid dynamics across the UK.  FMS is a member of the “Boundary layers and complex rotating fluids” SIG and the Surrey node leader is Matt Turner, and a member of the “Surface and internal waves” SIG with Surrey node leader Tom Bridges.  The SIGs are funded to have periodic focussed meetings.  Further details on the SIGs and the network can be found here and here.
