- for staff training
- to invite colleagues from around the University to visit and listen to presentations about our work helping students.
- to invite colleagues from around the University to come and speak about their work, how it might impact /integrate with what we do.
- To go out and visit other departments, to provide staff with information about the range of services we offer

–Student Information Desk (a one stop shop for student questions and queries through the Student Service Centre)
–Student Life Mentoring (student advisors who manage teams of 55 student peer mentors who impact the student experience)
–Student Money (money advisors who advise on Government and University financial support)
–Residential Wardening (14 resident staff wardens looking after discipline and pastoral support)
–Private Sector Housing (advisors who assist with off campus housing/problems)
–Student Finance Receivables (credit control for fees and accommodation)
–International Student Support (non-UK student visa and support)
