International Conference on E-Learning – 2012
The Department of Computing had a paper accepted for oral presentation at E-Learn 2012 conference in Montreal, Canada. This paper was submitted by Mr. Abdulaziz Aldaej on “E-Learning evolution: Next Steps, Semantic web and foundations of E-learning”. The paper covered some of the potential uses of the semantic web to enhance e-Learning services for Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs). This research was supervised by Professor Paul Krause.
E-Learn is world conference on E-Learning in Corporate, Government, Healthcare, & Higher Education. It is an international conference organised by the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE) and is co-sponsored by the International Journal on E-Learning. In this year, E-Learn 2012 is the 17th in this series of internationally respected events. E-Learn is a big conference and it attracted more than 600 participants this year.
