Minimum browser requirements for using the new catalogue interface (TalisPrism) are Netscape 4.5 and IE 5.5. Netscape 7.0 and IE 6.0 are recommended.
Please note:
Netscape 4.7 has caused some problems not uniquely associated with TalisPrism, and this version of Netscape is not recommended.
See details of your historic Loans, Reservations or Inter Library Loans (for the last 6 months).
Renew several loans at once.
Print, email or download search results in various formats (Brief, Full, CSV).
Library information is linked from the Welcome (Search) and Library Info pages.
Email comments to the Library from the “Library Info” page.
There is online context-sensitive Help from wherever you are in the system.
Sort your results by title, author or date (up or down).
Search sources (databases) other than the UniS library catalogue (in Advanced Search). Sources currently available are TalisList (UniS Reading Lists), xRefer (a reference database), BL (British Library), COPAC (major university library catalogues), Google, Amazon and RDN (Resource Discovery Network, for good Web sources).
Combine search terms of any type (in Advanced Search), e.g. the names of two authors.
