The Library has been able to add eight new titles from the ACS to its collection of online journals from January 2006.
Biomacromolecules (2000- )
Crystal Growth & Design (2001- )
Journal of Chemical Theory and Computation (2005- )
Journal of Combinatorial Chemistry (1999- )
Journal of Proteome Research (2002- )
Molecular Pharmaceutics (2004- )
Nano Letters (2001- )
Organic Letters (1999- )
These new titles have been added at a very low additional cost, as they are part of a deal negotiated with ACS on behalf of UK Higher Education institutions.
In addition, there is increased online access to backfiles of the other 24 ACS journals to which the Library has subscribed since January 2005. Instead of only having access to the current year’s issues, plus 4 years of backfiles, access has been extended back to 1996. This effectively doubles the number of issues available online to UniS staff and students, at no extra cost.
To access these titles, go to the E-Journals A-Z list and type the journal title into the “Find” box at the top right of the screen. ACS journals are available on campus without a password, and off campus by logging in to the Secure Web Access from Anywhere service with your university network username and password.
