Week commencing 23rd November – Contractors begin to relocate the hoardings, place hardcore, and relocate drainage.

Week commencing 14th December – Contractors begin work on foundations for the new extension. This may involve noise and disruption to access to the area in front of the Library building.

21st December – 11th January – Access to the area in front of the Library building is likely to be restricted to building contractors only. Security will monitor the situation. Please note that the Disabled parking bays will probably not be accessible during this period.

NB: It is planned to avoid all noisy building works during the run up to exams, however please be aware that works may overrun due to unforseen circumstances such as poor weather.
