The University of Surrey Library had an open day on 13th October marking the completion of the new Library and Learning Centre to roof level. Throughout the day students and visitors were invited to find out more about this exciting project and about the new information resources, workshops and support we provide.
There were various displays highlighting our key services such as:
- Academic Liaison Librarians demonstrating the new website and e-resources
- SPLASH and Additional Learning Support tutors demonstrating the range of support they offer to our students
- Information on the upcoming RFID (radio frequency identification) self issue and return system
- A demonstration of the new Researcher Development Action Planner
- A chance to see some of the works from the E.H. Shephard Archive and the National Resource Centre Dance archive
