SURJ is a multi-disciplinary online refereed journal that publishes high quality research produced by undergraduate and post-graduate taught Surrey students. The journal is published by SPLASH. Kiera Farrelly, a Psychology undergraduate student, said about publishing with SURJ:
SURJ provided me with the chance to publish research from my placement year, which is an opportunity that I would not have been given otherwise. Everyone was extremely supportive throughout the process and the most rewarding part was seeing the finished article at the end! The experience of publishing research in a journal has made me consider going on to do a PhD so I would recommend it anyone who wants to gain an insight into academic journal publishing!
SURJ launched its first issue on 25th March 2015. Authors included: Joanna Adebayo (Psychology), Keira Farrelly and Shelby Mace (Psychology), Yulia Lazareva (Hospitality and Tourism) and Philip Nguyen (Hospitality and Tourism).
