For those of you using the Library over the summer, we’d like to flag up some changes to Library functions which will go live from Monday 17 August. We’ll be updating on some great improvements in more detail when the changes take place, but if you’re using the Library regularly at the moment you might want to be aware of the following:

• The way you search for Library resources, print and electronic, will look and work differently (but significantly better!) We’re confident it will be intuitive to use but if you’re searching for Library information regularly over the next few weeks be prepared for our search facility to look different from Monday 17 August. It will be in the same place and we’ll be putting up some help for you on our website if needed.

• We’ll also update you on how to place reservations and handle all the usual things you do with your Library account as they will also look a bit different.
• Inter-Library Loans will be available throughout but, again, after Monday 17 August be prepared for the way you request them to be done a bit differently. We’ll make sure there’s information about this on our webpages once the changes are live.
