The British Library Lending Division has begun a programme of asbestos removal from their storage facilities in Boston Spa, West Yorkshire that is expected to last for much of 2011.

How does this affect our Inter Library Loans service?

When the British Library is unavailable to supply an inter library loan item due to stock being temporarily unavailable, we are seeking alternative sources.   This may cause a delay in satisfying your request.  We will continue to keep you informed as fully as possible should your request be affected.  Please contact ILL@surrey.ac.uk  if you have any further queries.
