About me

Prof Simon Usherwood

Professor in Politics Department of Politics

After study in the UK, Germany and Belgium and with a keen interest in embedding the study of Politics in a wider context, my work at Surrey since I joined in 2003 has been focused not only on my research on the EU and euroscepticism, but also on enhancing the learning environment for students. I was Deputy Director of the ESRC's "UK in a Changing Europe" programme (www.ukandeu.ac.uk) 2017-19.
