Making the most of your doctorate: career planning for PGRs 1 December 2 – 4 pm  

Here are more details about this in-person workshop designed for PGRs at an early stage of the doctorate.

In this workshop, we compare different approaches to career management and reflect on factors which may impact career choices.

• Explore the concept of the T-shaped researcher and how to take advantage of the full range of opportunities for professional development offered by the doctorate and how to access them.
• This is an interactive session with the opportunity to reflect on career ideas, and development needs, building on existing skills and experience.
• Resources are shared to support research into the full range of options available after the doctorate.
