Congratulations to PGR Krista Clarke and ECR Dr Eunice Aroyewun for being one of the first researchers in the country to receive their certificate for completing the full Virt2ue Research Integrity course.
These researchers have taken the initiative to professionalise and further develop their skills to foster a positive research culture and ethical research practices by attending our virtual workshop and completing three online modules.
“I found it very interesting and helpful in considering lots of different aspects of research integrity and virtue and cognitive dissonance. As well as covering more commonly thought of research misconducts such as plagiarism and falsification, they also consider research integrity within research culture as a whole such as publication pressures” – Krista Clarke, PGR in Mech. Eng. Sci
If you are interested in gaining this certification for your own professional skills and career development, you can sign up to a future workshop next term via Surrey Self-service. For more information, contact Neelam.wright@surrey.ac.uk
