An exciting new development is underway which will extend the space and resources available for student independent learning and study. A new extension is being added at the East End of the existing University Library, linked and integrated with the existing Library at the first and second floor level.

The Extension is a major initiative for the University and will provide greatly needed additional study facilities for staff and students. Benefits include:

• Significant increase in the number of PCs
• Additional wireless capacity for use of laptops
• Much enlarged informal learning cafe zone
• Improved access routes for all into and around the new building
• A new entrance to the Library close to the Lecture Block
