Works to improve safety outside the Library building

For safety reasons, the entrance to the extension building site will shortly be cordoned off, with barriers to separate pedestrians from construction traffic. Disabled parking will be available adjacent to the Teaching Block.

There will be clear signage, low level barriers, and road markings to guide pedestrians to the Library Building or towards the Lecture Block. The large planters outside the building will be moved to increase the space available for pedestrians.

To improve accessibility to additional disabled bays between the BA Building and the Management Building, there will be an intercom in the access barrier outside the Senate House car park.
