Campus Cards

Due to an upgrade to the building security system we will be unable to print new Campus Cards from 18-20 December. You may still apply for a new card and upload a photograph, but cards will not be printed until Thursday 21 December. Please note Campus Cards will not be printed between 23 December and 2 January inclusive, although you may still apply online.

Furniture moves

Disruption to Level 3 and 4 in the Library whilst we move furniture and computer equipment. This work will commence on Monday 18 December. If you require help to find somewhere to study, please ask staff at the Library and Learning Hive, Level 1. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Opening times and staffed hours

The Library building is open from 8 am – 12 midnight. Staffed hours are 8 am – 5 pm. On Wednesday staffed service finishes at 12:50 pm. The Gurkha security team will staff the Library outside these times.

Lift inspection

This will take place on Thursday, 21 December. The Main Learning Centre lift, Orange Lift and Green Lift in the Library will be taken out of service in turn. They will each be unavailable for around 30 minutes. Please ask staff for support with navigating the building during this time. Phone 01483 689235 for support.

Wi-fi upgrades Tuesday 19 December

Please be aware that connection to the Eduroam and Visitor wi-fi networks may be lost during this time. Downtime could be from a few seconds to 30 minutes. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
