The document delivery service for titles now held in the Journal Store (Closed Access) will begin as from Thursday 24th May 2007. Collections will take place at 2:00 pm Monday – Friday, with items then available from 4:00 pm of that day. Request forms are available from the Information Desk. See here for more details.

As a result of an upgrade over January 2007, wireless networking is now operational on all floors of the Library, though users should be aware that there will always be weak spots, in particular behind some shelving and in carrels. However, signs indicating hotspots will be mounted on all floors.

From March 2007, the MIDIRS database is to be replaced by the Maternity and Infant Care Database, via Ovid. The new database has the same content as MIDIRS but is accessible using Athens and is also compatible with LinkSource.

The complete digital edition of The Times (London) is now available (click here). The entire newspaper is captured, including all articles, advertisements and illustrations/photographs divided into categories to faciitate searching.
