This term, we kicked things off at Freshers Fair, where we set up a booth packed with everything you need to know about our society. Whether you’re missing the food from back home or looking to meet fellow Malaysians, our booth had something for everyone. I had the pleasure of meeting many Malaysians and even non-Malaysians who share a love for our culture and food.

But that was just the beginning! We teamed up with the Singaporean Society for a ‘Meet and Greet’ event, a brilliant opportunity for new and returning students to bond and explore Guildford together. Our adventure began with a leisurely stroll through the picturesque streets of town, leading us to the historic Guildford Castle. Along the way, there were plenty of laughs, conversations, and photo sessions 📸 at the castle’s scenic grounds. 🏰

Next, we embarked on a hike to The Mount, where we were rewarded with a stunning panoramic view of Guildford. It was a great moment to soak in the beauty of our university town, surrounded by new friends. The whole “jalan-jalan” experience was truly memorable.

We wrapped up the day with a picnic at Scape, sharing more delicious food, playing games, and enjoying each other’s company. The relaxed vibe made it easy to connect with others, and the evening felt just like a big family gathering.
