I arrived in Guildford the day Fresher’s week started. Fighting the jetlag, I made sure to attend the meet and greet for all the undergraduate Bioscience students. Everyone I met that night was incredibly friendly and I was immediately comfortable. After that day, Fresher’s Week seemed to just fly by and before I knew it, I was already familiar with the campus.

Biology has always been something I am passionate about. I am currently enrolled in the four-year Biomedical Science program, with my third year being a professional placement year. I look forward to taking a year off to work and I think I can learn so much from it.

Although I left behind my home country when I made this move, I know I will have new experiences to share when I go back during the holidays.
