- Opening hours: 24 hours, 7 days a week during semester time, with staffing from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
- Lots of open and bookable study spaces – single spaces, group study rooms, and specialist rooms available within each faculty so that you can focus in on the work you are doing with access to relevant technical facilities catered to your subject area
- Hundreds of computers – you can see which computers are free online so you don’t need to spend time searching for one
- Provides: online searching for library resources; services for study and development support; a team who provide disability and neurodiversity support; and a large collection of archives and special collections
- Senate House, floor 2 in the area previously know as the ‘Spark’. Open 24 hours, 7 days a week for all students.
- Alan Turing building (BB) on the 4th floor. Open 24 hours, 7 days a week with card access to the building.
- James Joule building (BC) on the 2nd Floor, room 39. Open 24 hours, 7 days a week with card access to the building.
- Elizabeth Fry building (AD) on the 3rd floor, room 45. Open 24 hours, 7 days a week with card access to the building.
- Edward Jenner building (AX) on the 1st floor. Open 8am – 6pm, 7 days a week with card access to the building.
On-campus perks during exam season
Aside from the regular foods and beverages on offer, Hillside Food Court, one of our on-campus restaurants, offers the following perks during exam season:
- discounted tea and coffee
- hot food until 7:30pm, for just £2.50 per plate
- from 3-7pm, a dish of dried fruits, nuts and seeds for £2
- from 2:30-5pm, the chance to make a smoothie on the smoothie bike for £1
Off-campus study spaces

- Opening times: Monday-Friday 8-4pm, Saturday 8:30am-5pm, Sunday 9:30am-5pm
