Anton Savostianov wins AIMS international student paper competition

madrid Anton Savostianov, a PhD student of Sergey Zelik, has won first place in the AIMS international student paper competition.  This prize was awarded at the 10th AIMS Conference on Dynamical Systems, Differential Equations, and Applications, held in Madrid Spain the week of 7th July, and includes the award of $400.  The title of the winning talk is “Strichartz estimates and smooth attractors for wave equations with fractional damping in bounded domains“.  The website for the conference is here.  The list of ten finalists is here.
