Anne Skeldon gives a talk at the UK Clock Club meeting in Oxford

modifiedarnoldtongueAnne Skeldon gave a talk on Tuesday 10th January at the UK Clock Club meeting held at the University of Oxford with the title “Should we change school start times? Insights from the mathematical modelling of circadian oscillators, self-selected light-dark cycles and social time“. She spoke on joint work with Derk-Jan Dijk (Surrey Sleep Research Centre) and Andrew Phillips (Harvard Medical School).  The UK Clock Club consists of researchers studying circadian rhythms and typically has meetings twice a year. These meetings provide an opportunity to share and discuss research on many different species (eg human, mouse, fly, plants)  and using many different tools (eg molecular genetics, ex vivo imaging, behavioural analysis, modelling, and mathematics).
