This October marks Cyber Awareness Month 2023.

As one of our activities to promote good security for our staff and students the University of Surrey Cyber Security Team is pleased to be launching a new campaign of optional, on-demand training, as requested by a number of colleagues.

This training will be available online on the Security Education Platform and will appear at My Training below any essential training you have been assigned from Thursday 5 October 2023.

The training we are releasing will be small, bite-sized courses, designed to be easy to digest, to help you make the most out of your security education. We will periodically change the optional training to keep it up to date with the latest security trends and themes.

The first set of modules is themed around safer web browsing, covering key safety skills while browsing online.
