I’m excited to announce that we are once again offering paid PhD Internships within Tesco Data Science. The internship is for up to 12-weeks starting between May and July 2020 and can be based either in our London or Welwyn Garden City offices. 

At Tesco the Data Science team work across multiple domains focusing on modelling complex business problems and deploying data products at scale. To get an idea of what this means some of the projects we have recently worked on are; online recommendations, vehicle routing, price optimisation, forecasting, and computer vision.

So if you are a PhD student (with around 1 to 1.5 years left before you finish) or you have recently finished a PhD, this is a great

opportunity to apply your academic expertise to an exciting applied problem and to see what life is like as a Tesco Data Scientist.
