Call for animators, illustrators and musicians!

The technē Philosophy and Critical Methods Conflux is looking for illustrations, animations and soundscapes to contribute to an exciting new online lecture series. This series of 10-15 minute videos will use audio from experts on the topics of psychoanalysis, feminism, gender studies, the Frankfurt School, Marxism, the works of Friedrich Nietzsche, and other critical paradigms.

We want to marry these with your visual submissions to create a new way of experiencing the content of the conflux so far, while laying the groundwork our future discussions of critical methods and theories. Responses may be to the content of the specific lecture or more expressive of the wider themes.

We have a maximum budget of £300 per video to be shared between contributing artists; the exact fee, format and requirements can be discussed on application.

To submit your ideas or register your interest, please email and briefly note your critical/theoretical interests.

For more information on the conflux, please visit or follow our Twitter @technePhilCrit. We look forward to receiving your submissions!
