Exploring future options? Uncertain about your next steps? Feeling a bit stuck or unsure about career direction?
The precarious nature of Early Career Researchers (ECRs) careers and demanding work schedules can make career planning a challenge. To support you as you navigate your way through this complex and uncertain environment we are piloting a Career Management blended learning programme specifically for ECRs at Surrey.
The programme is designed to provide tools to support you in planning and managing your career, whatever your aspiration, in collaboration with a peer learning group, providing focus and confidence to enable you to progress.
Working in a collaborative and supportive peer learning group, the aim of the programme is to help you clarify your career thinking and confidence to help you move forward. Set within the context of the current Concordat and the University’s HR Excellence in Research action plan, you will be able to focus your professional and career development within the context of the research environment, problem solve, and establish a network of support with other ECRs from across Surrey.
The flexible learning programme will run from 11th February to 15th April. Please register for the launch event on Thursday 11th Feb 4pm-5pm via the zoom registration link here
