Surrey Research community shares valuable resources on Equality in Research

The University’s ECR EDI working group and the RDP team have collected together the links and resources that have helped them to improve their own understanding and awareness of EDI issues in relation to research. We want to share them with all our researchers, so they are now on our new DC EDI blog site:

https://blogs.surrey.ac.uk/doctoral-college-equality-diversity-inclusion/

Please take a look as there is a broad variety of information on there, all of which is relevant to HE research. The resources include short videos and articles that can give you ‘bitesize’ information on current issues, activities, resources and events in relation to Equality in Research. This is a great way for novices to begin exploring EDI in HE, as well as an opportunity for those who are already engaged to dig deeper and enhance their knowledge.

We would like to build this resource further, and invite you to share further links or write something on the topic of EDI in research. Email us to share your own experiences, stories and ideas in relation to improving Equality in Research and send them in to doctoralcollege@surrey.ac.uk.

If you would like to know more about our EDI initiatives or get more involved, please contact Neelam.wright@surrey.ac.uk
