Blockchain Training Sessions

The Surrey Academy of Blockchain and Metaverse Applications (SABMA) is launching its Blockchain Training Sessions since on 9 November 2022. The sessions are free and open to all at the University of Surrey.

About the sessions

The Surrey Academy for Blockchain and Metaverse Applications (SABMA) is proud to launch a training series on blockchain and metaverse. It is one of the first in the UK to cover both the programming tools and business models of blockchain.  Specifically, the training courses will enable us to do a deep dive into the world of Blockchain by building an end to end solution using cutting edge technologies like Solidity, GitHub, VS code, etc. Meanwhile, business knowledge on strategic management, entrepreneurship management and innovation management will be covered in the context of blockchain applications.

The best way to reinforce a skill is to practice it yourself, and blockchain is no different. This training requires zero prior knowledge to get started! Some basic web development skills including Javascript along with Solidity would move you through the training at a much faster pace than others. Also, this training includes introductory sections so that we all move through the key lessons together regardless of our skill level!
