Flight tickets
In this blog, I would like to introduce a specially designed flight ticket for students studying abroad – the student bundle tickets. If you are considering going back to Hong Kong during the Christmas+Easter+Summer vacation, you might benefit from this type of flight ticket. As you will be able to pre-book your flights ahead of time. And the most attractive point is you will be offered three pieces of checked baggage and unlimited complimentary date changes on every booking! Heathrow/Gatwick to Uni of Surrey!
After a long 13hr journey from Hong Kong to the UK either through Heathrow or Gatwick airport. Your next stop would be Guildford!
The quickest and most effective way to travel from Heathrow to Guildford is by direct coach. The Railair coach RA2 goes directly from London Heathrow T3 and T5 to Guildford railway station. It just costs £9.5 and £6.5 if you have got a railcard. Other ways to travel include taking the coach to Woking, then catching the train to Guildford. After arriving at Guildford rail station, you could take a bus or taxi to your accommodation site. If you are moving in during the welcoming week, Freshers’ Angles will be all around the campus helping you to move in😊 If not, just check out the staghill or manor park reception for key collection!
If you are coming from Gatwick. You can get a National Express coach from both the south and north terminals to Guildford via London Victoria Coach Station. The coach will drop you off on Egerton Road, adjacent to Tesco supermarket.
Meet and Greet (airport pick-up service)
Highly recommend this service to all international freshers! This is a FREE airport pick-up service for newly arriving international students in September 2022. The team of staff and student helpers will be welcoming arrivals at Heathrow and Gatwick airports 7am-8pm on the 13th, 14th, and 17th of September. If you are interested, please book here.
