Ever had an idea to tackle a social issue but don’t know where to start? I might have a suggestion for you.
I have been part of Enactus for a year and a half now. Throughout this time, I launched a project that aims to encourage conversations about mental health, and met a lot more university students like myself that want to contribute to social change!
Enactus UK & Ireland supports students & young people across the country to engage in social action and social enterprise. Their mission is to be recognised as a leader in developing a national network of socially minded young leaders of the future, who transform communities and society through real life social action and environmentally responsible enterprise.
Every year, Enactus students from each university deliver a presentation on the impact they have made, and the project they are running. This year, I had the honour of pitching Daybreak Theatre Project to a panel of judges at the Regional Qualifiers held at the Feltham SAP office. The Q&A section is particularly helpful for the project going forward, as some of them we haven’t considered before!

Being part of Enactus is a great network, it connects students with well-known employers such as HSBC, AIG, British Airways, who offer exclusive graduate schemes and opportunities.
The Enactus UK and Ireland Expo is coming up on 8th April 2025 at ExCel London. If you are interested in seeing what they do, or meeting like-minded university students, learn more and register here!
