ACCESS TO PRINTED PERIODICALS and WIRELESS ZONE

FLOOR 2 (WEST) RE-OPENS

Floor 2 (West) is now re-open for use by staff and students. The collection of printed periodicals (journals) and the Wireless Zone on Floor 2 can be used from today (Friday 22nd September) This follows a period of closure due to the major move of periodicals carried out during August and September 2006. Floor 3 remains closed at present.

Many of the printed periodical titles formerly located on Floor 3 (West) can now be found on Floor 2 integrated into the existing sequence. Please ask for assistance at the Information Desk if you need help in locating the title you require.

Follow up work on the rearranged periodical sequences will continue for the next few weeks, including further work on the titles moved to the new Journal Store.

  • · the Inter-Libray Loans service will continue to be available for urgent access to journals not available electronically – please ask at the Information Desk.

We apologise for the disruption this major move may have caused
