Join us for our first #surreylibchat TODAY at 2pm!

surreylibchat-twitterhashtag

We will be launching our very first #surreylibchat on Twitter today at 2pm.

What will we be talking about?

The agenda for today’s session is:

  1. Silent study – your expectations vs actual experience
  2. Individual study – your expectations vs actual experience
  3. Group study – your expectations vs actual experience
  4. Study space – what type would you like to see more of?

How do you take part?

Firstly – you need a Twitter account. If you don’t have one (but want to see what is being said), you can always just search for the hashtag #surreylibchat on Twitter, and it will do the search for you.

Secondly, be ready to take part at 2pm (although you’re welcome to join us at any time during this hour).

Thirdly, get ready to JOIN IN! #surreylibchat won’t work if no-one is actually talking!!

#surreylibchat Etiquette

If you’ve never taken part in something like this before, here are some top tips to help ensure we’re all on the same page!

  1. Start your messages with @surreylib – that way we’ll know you’re talking to us!
  2. State the question number you’re responding to – i.e. ‘@surreylib 3. I think it works well…’ so that we can keep track of the conversation, and respond.
  3. Finish your tweet with the hashtag #surreylibchat

We will collate all responses following the chat session, and will report back on the blog so that you can catch up with what’s been said – even if you weren’t taking part!

See you at 2pm.
