Semester 2 news

Library staff have been busy welcoming new and returning students to the Library today.

There is still time to join a Library ‘Know How’ tour on Tuesday 7 February. Don’t worry about booking, just come along at 11am or 11:45am in the morning or 2:15pm or 3pm in the afternoon. The meeting point is the Library and Learning Hive on Level 1. Before or after your tour have a look at our International Food display and pick up a snack, browse our books with recipes from around the world and pick up some recipe ideas. If you are thinking of learning another language check out the information about Languages classes, the free language app, and resources which you can borrow. Why not join the Laces network and learn about other cultures. There is also a small display of literature from our collections translated into English.

Also on Tuesday 7 stop and have a chat with the lovely team from Friends International Guildford, 12-2pm on Level 1 (they are visiting again on Thursday, 9 February, 12-2). We are hoping to welcome your Hindu Chaplain too, please join her for a nice cup of tea!
