Estates have informed us that emergency works to replace a pump will take place in the Library and Learning Centre on Tuesday, 14 November.

This means that there will be no hot water or heating in the building from 5 am – 4 pm. There may also be noise or other disruption during the works. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Cold water and toilets will continue to be available throughout the day.

If possible, please delay your visit to the Library tomorrow until later in the day. Should you have to use the building please speak to staff at the Library and Learning Hive for support.

Please dress warmly and remember that we have fleece blankets for you to borrow on Levels 1 – 5 of the Library. You are also welcome to bring hot drinks into the building.
