Hello!

I am officially on Easter break!

Update on the sudden snowy weekend I mentioned in the last post. It did happen and I was sad. But I was stuck indoors studying anyway (or at least trying to), so I wasn’t too fussed about it.

Last Friday, I went to watch the One World Gala. It had a lot of performances from most international University of Surrey societies. It was amazing! It started at 7.30pm and ended at around 11.00pm. They live-streamed the event throughout!

I had quite a few friends performing so of course, I had to go and support them! All the performances were amazing! You could tell that they put a lot of effort into it. It started with 2 well-choreographed dances from the Japanese Society and ended with a bang (Literally because they danced to Bang Bang Bang by Big Bang. Haha #lamejokesftw) with KISS’s (Korean International Students’ Society) variety of K-pop dances. I am naming other examples off the top of my head because it has been more than a week since I went but the Surrey Filipino Society performed, so did the Bulgarian Society, BandSoc represented Hong Kong by performing songs by HK artists, Indonesian Society and many more!

Besides that, I went through my mid-terms and came out alive. Whoopee!
