On Thursday 14 February, a team from ERIE (Anne Skeldon, Alex Penn, Frank Schiller & Anne Velenturf) visited the CATCH Centre in Stallingborough in the Humber region. They delivered a workshop to a group of ERIE stakeholders that included members of the local business community and local council members. During the workshop they presented work that the team has been doing on networks and on an agent-based model. The purpose of the agent-based model is to describe the development of the bio-waste industry and help inform policy making. During the workshop, participants were able to interact with the models that were presented and they in turn provided valuable feedback that will now be incorporated into subsequent versions of the model.
