The project: Models and Mathematics in Life and Social Sciences (MILES) has had its EPSRC funding extended to 31 January 2014. This project emerged from an EPSRC Bridging the Gaps programme, and involves a collaboration between mathematics, sociology, biology and computing. The PI is Rebecca Hoyle and the co-Is are Paul Krause (Computing), Johnjoe McFadden (Biology) and Nigel Gilbert (Sociology). Details of past and upcoming activities can be found on the MILES website.
