Sergey Zelik is visiting the Laboratoire Dieudonne at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis in France.  While there he has given a talk in the Geometry and Analysis Seminar on Thursday 19th December with title “Recent progress in attractors for quintic wave equations in bounded domains“.  In the talk he presented some new results concerning the global well-posedness, asymptotic smoothness, dissipativity and attractors of damped quintic wave equations in bounded domains contained in R^3.  The seminar website is here.
