On Thursday and Friday, 19-20 February, Dr Agnese Bissi from the Mathematical Institute, Oxford, visited the FSG group, and gave a 10-hour series of lectures on “Conformal bootstrap meets supersymmetry“. The topics covered included conformal symmetry in d>2 dimensions, unitary representations of the conformal group, 2 and 3 point correlation functions, crossing symmetry and the conformal bootstrap equation, superconformal symmetry, shortening and BPS-type conditions, explicit example of N=4 SYM, analytical and numerical application of the superconformal bootstrap equation, as well as recent developments and open problems. The workshop was organised by Alessandro Torrielli, and it was supported by the EPSRC under the first grant project EP/K014412/1 “Exotic quantum groups, Lie superalgebras and integrable systems“.
