Sylvain Delahaies, who is working on the NERC-funded Data Assimilation project with Ian Roulstone, gave presentations in Vienna and Paris in April. From 12-17 April he was in Vienna for the European Geosciences Union General Assembly 2015 (EGU 2015). On Friday 17th he gave a talk on “A practical method to assess model sensitivity and parameter uncertainty in C cycle models“.  His co-authors are Ian Roulstone and Nancy Nicholls (Reading), and a link to the talk and abstract is here.  From 20-21 April he was in Paris for a two-day workshop on “Recent developments in model-data fusion for carbon and GHG science” where he presented a poster with the same title as the Vienna talk.  A link to the poster is here.  A link to the Paris workshop is here.
