The paper A stability criterion for the non-linear wave equation with spatial inhomogeneity, co-authored by Christopher J.K. Knight and Gianne Derks, has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Differential Equations.  In the paper the non-linear wave equation with a spatial inhomogeneity is considered, which has multiple stationary fronts.  The paper introduces and proves a new geometric stability criterion for these fronts.
