Alessandro Torrielli visited the Istituto Nazionale de Fisica Nucleare at the University of Turin this week, giving a talk on Monday 14 December on “Lower dimensional AdS/CFT correspondences and their integrability“. In the talk he gave an overview of AdS/CFT correspondences in dimensions lower than or equal to 5, with emphasis on their integrable structure. He described the algebraic machinery to solve the spectral problem (Bethe ansatz) and the issues that arise in dimensions 2 and 3, namely massless particles and long representations. Despite these peculiarities, the goal of the seminar will be to highlight the remarkable universality of the integrability technique across a wide variety of different AdS/CFT scenarios.
