Tom Bridges and Dan Ratliff attended the SIAM Conference on Nonlinear Waves and Coherent Structures in Philadelphia during the week of 8th August.  Both Tom and Dan gave minisymposium talks in MS21. Dan spoke on “Phase dynamics of multiphase wavetrains” and Tom spoke on “Phase dynamics, modulation and water waves“.  As Chair of the activity group, Tom was also engaged with the prize giving , the business meeting, and the nomination committee.
