Alessandro Torrielli, and co-organisers of the Florence conference on “New Developments in AdS3/CFT2 holography“, have been awarded a grant of 64,000 EUR to fund Early Career Researcher attendance. The grant was awarded by Associazione di Fondazioni e di Casse di Risparmio Spa (ACRI), which collects Italian credit institutes and non-profit bank foundations, via the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN), to realise the project “Giovani ricercatori in Fisica Teorica: AdS3/CFT2“. The project, which is part of the “Young Investigator Training Program”, is tied to the workshop that will take place at the Galileo Galilei Institute in spring 2017. These funds will allow 19 young researchers to attend the workshop and visit one of fourteen Italian research partner institutes for one month.
