Cesare Tronci has been travelling through Europe giving talks over the past month. The week of 3-7 April he attended and gave a talk at KineMa 2017: Numerical Modeling of Kinetic Magnetized Plasmas, which was held in Cargese, France. He spoke on “Modeling efforts in hybrid kinetic-MHD systems“. On the 25th April he gave an invited Seminar in Mathematics at Toulouse, on “Multiphysics models for hybrid kinetic-fluid systems“. On Wednesday 3rd May he visited the Mathematics Department at the University of Milano-Bicocca and gave a talk on”Equazioni di Eulero-Poincaré e applicazioni alla dinamica dei cristalli liquidi“. The picture below is from the campus of Milano-Bicocca. The week of 26-30 June he will be an invited Lecturer at the 11th International Summer School on Geometry, Mechanics and Control, in Madrid.
