Gianne Derks is in Mexico this week (18-23 June), attending and speaking at the Conference on “Geometrical methods, non self-adjoint spectral problems, and stability of periodic structures“, being held at the BANFF Research Station in Oaxaca Mexico (see map below).  A link to the conference webpage is here.  Gianne gave on talk on Thursday 22 June on “Existence and stability of fronts in inhomogeneous wave equations“.  Her talk is based on joint work with Arjen Doelman (Leiden), Chris Knight (Surrey), and Hadi Susanto (Essex).
