A team from Surrey is attending the 2018 British Applied Mathematics Colloquium being held at the University of St Andrews this week (26-29 March). In attendance are Dan Hill, Ying Huang, Andreas Foiniotis, and Anne Skeldon. Ying is giving a talk on “Dynamically coupled shallow-water sloshing in two connected vessels“, Anne is giving a talk on “Sleep/wake inspired insights on the creation of gaps and non-monotonicity in circle maps“, and Andreas is presenting a poster on “Integral equation models of late-life acting insecticides and their role in malaria control“.
