Ian Roulstone is visiting the mathematics department at the University of Milano-Bicocca this week (25-27 June) to speak at the conference on “Hamiltonian PDEs: Models and Applications” (link here). Ian is giving a talk on the geometry of the Monge-Ampere equations. While there Ian will meet with Professor Andrea Biondi, vice-Provost at the university, to discuss a strategic partnership between mathematics at Surrey and mathematics at Milano-Bicocca.
